The next official open enrollment for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act begins November 1, 2021 for 2022 coverage.

However, special enrollment is currently available for people effected by disaster, lost coverage, having a baby or experiencing a change of income.

GetCoveredWNC, a service of Mountain Projects, offers free assistance, all year.
